Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road is Targeted to Operate in May 2021

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – President Director of PT Cibitung Tanjung Priok Port Tollways (CTP) Thorry Hendrarto is targeting Highway Cibitung-Cilincing will complete construction in April 2021 and will operate a month later or May 2021.

“Overall, construction Highway can be completed in April 2021 and operational in May 2021, “Thorry told Kompas.com, Tuesday (18/8/2020).

He ensured, for the segment or section whose work was completed first, it was Section 1 of the Cibitung-Telaga Asih line.

Section 1, which is 2.60 kilometers long, is expected to be operational in the fourth quarter of this year.

Toll Cibitung-Cilincing itself is designed for 34.02 kilometers which includes four sections, namely Section 1 Cibitung-Telaga Asih 2.96 kilometers long.

Then, Section 2 Telagaasih-Tembelang along 9.41 kilometers, Section 3 Tembelang-Mekarjaya along 13.09 kilometers, and Section 4 Mekarjaya-Cilincing along 8.56 kilometers.

Existence toll hopefully can shorten travel time travel and reduce freight expenses logistics in the east to north Jakarta, as well as opening up development opportunities economy surrounding.

Previously Thorry allowed the incident construction accident on the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll project.

The incident occurred during the casting process in Section IV of Marunda Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta, Sunday (16/8/2020).

The main cause of the incident is still being evaluated by PT Precast Concrete Cluster (WSBP) and the project leader of PT CTP as a business entity Street toll ( lodging) owner of the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll concession.

“We will continue to coordinate with contractor to immediately improve work procedures so that the same work accident does not occur in the future, “said Thorry.

Thorry said that his party will continue to supervise the implementation of construction work so that the construction completion target can be met.
