Berita Ciamis, (harapanrakyat.com),- Ciamis regency is optimistic that Tanjung Gumulung family planning village, Sidamulya village, Cisaga subdistrict, will become the champion at the West Java Province level.
This was revealed by the Head of the Office of Population Control, Family Planning, Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (DPPKBP3A) Ciamis Dian Budiana, during a virtual rechecking activity for the West Java Province level family planning village assessment, Wednesday (12/8/2021).
Dian said that Tanjung Gumulung KB Village, located in Sidamulya Village, Cisaga District, represented Ciamis Regency in participating in the KB village competition at the West Java Province level.
“Thank God we are represented by Kampung KB Tanjung Gemulung, Sidamulya Village, Cisaga District,” he said.

He continued, the election of Tanjung Gumulung KB Village to represent Ciamis in the West Java level competition was not without basis. Previously, the district government had carried out the selection stage.
The first stage will be carried out by a team from the District Government, so that a KB Village at the District level appears.
Then the selection stage at the district level, each sub-district KB village can report the profile of each KB village, verification, field verification.
“So it is not arbitrary to appoint the KB village to represent Ciamis,” he said.
Dian is very optimistic that Tanjung Gumulung KB Village can win, because there are several superiors in the KB village, including the greeting of angels or one family pool.
“This will also be how to tackle the stunting problem. Apart from being with the relevant agencies,” he said.
Dian hopes that with the existence of this KB village, how the people in the village or village can carry out the 8 family functions.
Starting from religious, social and educational functions, culture, economy, environmental preservation.
