This weekend, in Sucre, the vaccination points against the coronavirus will attend until 2:00 p.m. And although there is no ideal response from the population and it is not known when a new batch of second doses of Sputnik V will arrive, Chuquisaca is among the first in the ranking of coverage by department with first and second doses.

The director of the Departmental Health Service (Headquarters), Juan José Fernández, highlighted this Saturday on Correo del Sur Radio FM 90.1 that according to the epidemiological report of the Ministry of Health corresponding to this Friday, Chuquisaca is second with 43.6% coverage with first and second doses, only behind Tarija, which is first with 50.9%.

According to that document, the coverage ranking continues with Santa Cruz (41.9%), Oruro (41.9%), Cochabamba (41.4%), La Paz (36%), Pando (34.3%), Potosí (33% ) and Beni (25.4).

Only in first doses, Chuquisaca has 58.1% and Sucre 70%, according to Fernández.

At the Headquarters these figures stand out, although the response of citizens to vaccination is not ideal and they have citizens waiting for the second dose of the Russian vaccine, especially in Sucre.

Health hopes that the Ministry of Health will inform it when it will send a new batch of second doses of Sputnik V since there are practically no balances: the laggards came.

At authorized points such as the University Coliseum, Technology, Medicine, San José, etc., health personnel immunize against the coronavirus until 2:00 p.m. with first and second Sinopharm doses, and first Sputnik V doses.
