People Power Party Emergency Response Committee Chairman Han Dong-hoon said on the 4th, “My fellow citizens of North Chungcheong Province are not easy people. “It is said to be a barometer of public sentiment,” he said. “I believe that winning the hearts of North Chungcheong Province means winning the hearts of the Republic of Korea.” Chairman Han suggested, “The way to persuade (the moderates) is to provide reasonable and correct answers to each issue.” Chairman Han mentioned the time he spent in North Chungcheong Province after being demoted during the Moon Jae-in administration, saying, “It was really good,” and “It was like Hwayangyeonhwa.”
At the North Chungcheong Provincial Party’s New Year’s greeting held in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province this afternoon, Chairman Han said, “The answer is not to lukewarmly choose the middle ground on all issues.” “We will find it,” he said. He continued, “Through that, we will persuade our fellow citizens who are in the moderate class. If we think about the public good for each case and give the right answer while considering our fellow citizens, our answer will be a batting average that will be persuasive to the citizens who are in the moderate class.” “It will rise even higher,” he said. Before giving his greetings that day, Chairman Han bowed deeply along with key officials of the North Chungcheong Provincial Party. He also introduced his special relationship with North Chungcheong Province, saying that he attended kindergarten and Kookmin School (now an elementary school) in Cheongju as a child. Chairman Han said, “I am also from the generation that went to elementary school,” and added, “Yet the Democratic Party criticizes us for being young. “Actually, I appreciate that,” he said. He also said, “I was demoted four times during the last administration, and the third time was to Jincheon, North Chungcheong Province,” and “It was really good.” Every evening, I went to a cake shop alone with a book. “In my life, the years I spent in Jincheon were like Hwayangyeonhwa,” he said.
