On TV Gazeta’s Round Table program, Chulapa once again criticized coach Jorge Sampaoli, ex-Santos and currently at Olympique. The Argentine asked Luan.
“In fact, Santos has now lost Luan Peres, in my opinion the best defender in the country. Spectacular. I almost cried at home when I heard that Sampaoli’s bum had him hired. He was the one who sank Santos into everything”, said Serginho Chulapa .
“Santos sank into a disgraceful debt. President and Zé Carlos (the vice-president) are slowly fixing it. Labor law… Cueva stayed two months and asked for R$ 35 million. If I found him (Cueva), I’d beat him up. . What he did with Santos was dirty. Everything Sampaoli did. The guy arrives, plays three games and goes to court. He just wanted a nightclub,” he added, also criticizing the Peruvian.
Chulapa is part of Santos’ permanent technical committee. He is 67 years old.
