What’s wrong with the subways in New York? Again and again, videos appear on the Internet where bizarre and unusual things happen in the famous, notorious wagons. This is also the case in one of the latest videos, in which a person of short stature dresses up as the horror film character “Chucky” and bothers other people.
Bizarre scenario in the subway
Twitter user “kirawontmiss” uploaded a clip of a man in disguise trying to steal a woman’s purse while screaming at the top of his lungs. Meanwhile, the woman yells at the high-pitched screaming person, repeatedly telling them to stay away. Thankfully, this version of Chucky is less violent than the movie character, but the woman still runs away from him while another person rips the mask off the villain’s head. However, the person’s face could not be seen.

It is still unclear what the bizarre spectacle is all about, but the theory of many Twitter users is that it is a simple “prank”, a kind of joke to get attention on the net. The killer doll probably succeeded, the video has over 17 million views on Twitter. A little later, more pictures of Chucky appeared, such as on Coney Island.
A new prank pandemic?
The whole spectacle is strongly reminiscent of the wave of horror clowns that caused unrest in the USA and Europe a few years ago, sometimes with fatal consequences, such as fights, sometimes even with weapons.

It remains unclear what this costume is about, the culprit could not be identified. It’s probably only a matter of time before someone gets fed up with these pranks and the whole thing ends badly.
