Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano was back to his old tricks in the Eredivisie, scoring a goal and providing an assist in PSV’s 7-1 thrashing of Almere.
The Mexican was a starter and played the entire match on Matchday 3 to help the Eindhoven club stay in the lead with nine out of nine possible points.
‘Chucky’ Lozano assisted PSV’s third goal after a great play down the right flank to get past two opponents, play a one-two with Malik Tillman and then assist Couhaib Driouech who scored the 1-3 in the 65th minute.
Later, in the 83rd minute, the Mexican striker scored the 1-6 thanks to a long ball that he controlled to get into the area and chip the ball in front of the opposing goalkeeper.
The other PSV goals were scored by Guus Til (10′), Luuk de Jong (15′), Malik Tillman (71′) and Ricardo Pepi (90′), with Théo Barbet scoring an own goal (78′).
Great start to the season for ‘Chucky’ Lozano who has scored three goals and assisted one in three Eredivisie games.
