Chu Miae, the last review prosecutor’s greeting… 2 nuclear investigation teams replaced

Reporter Hoe-Sung Yang [email protected]-The Ministry of Justice sent a part of the investigation team to the suspected early closure of the’Wolseong Unit 1’nuclear power plant and carried out a review of the prosecutor’s office. Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae is the third critic of the prosecutor’s office since taking office in January last year and is likely to be the last.

On this day, the Ministry of Justice announced regular prosecutors’ personnel for a total of 542 people, including 11 high prosecutors and 531 reviewers. Among the prosecutors who received telegrams were Daejeon District Prosecutors Hyungwon Kim (43th, 36th Judicial Research and Training Institute) and Sumin Kim (41th and 37th), who have investigated the suspicion of early closure of the’Wolseong Unit 1′. The two prosecutors were transferred to the Seongnam branch office and the prosecution researcher at the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office, respectively. The Ministry of Justice explained that “Prosecutors who have completed the two-year service period for the prosecutor specified in the Prosecutor’s Personnel Regulations are subject to issue even if an investigation is underway.”

Ten review prosecutors declined in the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office investigating allegations of Lime Asset Management Fund fraud. Prosecutors Choi Jong-pil (46/36) and Moon-hyuk Han (41/36) of the 1st Financial Investigation Department, who investigated the’prosecutor’s suspicion of drinking entertainment’, were transferred to the Gwangju District Prosecutors’ Office and the Busan East District Office, respectively. Prosecutor Lee Gyu-won (the 44th and 36th term), who is being investigated for the alleged illegal departure from the former Vice Minister of Justice Kim Hak-e, remains dispatched to the Fair Trade Commission.

If candidate Park Bum-gye, who is scheduled for a personnel hearing on the 25th, takes office, it is expected that high-ranking executives at the level of prosecutor or higher will be appointed soon. There are many prospects that Candidate Park, unlike Minister Chu, will not set a day with Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol. Candidate Park went to work as a personnel hearing preparation group prepared at the Seoul High Prosecutor’s Office on the 21st and said, “I met with former Prosecutor General Song Kwang-soo, who served as the first prosecutor general of the participating government, and had a time to listen to the law.” Candidate Park is known to have met with President Song Jeon and received advice on how the Ministry of Justice and the Supreme Prosecutors consulted with the prosecution.
