Nicosia ∙ Archbishop Chrysostom II (81), head of the Greek Orthodox Christian Church in Cyprus, served as Metropolitan. He was being treated for cancer. The synod of the church will decide the time of the funeral. In 1978 he was elevated to the office of Bishop of the Diocese of Paphos and in 2004 he became Head of the Church.
