Chronology of the Arrest of All Young Mother Rapists in Bangkalan

SURABAYA, KOMPAS.com – Police arrested eight suspected perpetrators of rape of young mothers in the Regency Bangkalan, East Java, on Wednesday (07/08/2020).

Five of them surrendered. The rest were arrested in Surabaya and Bangkalan.

Head of East Java Police Public Relations Commissioner Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko said, the perpetrators with the initials F, AR, C, and MZ surrendered to the Bangkalan Police Headquarters.

They were escorted by community leaders on Monday (7/7/2020).

“The next day Tuesday (07/07/2020), it was MS’s turn to surrender to the Bangkalan Police Headquarters,” Trunoyudo said at the East Java Regional Police Headquarters, Wednesday (07/08/2020).

The police then arrested the perpetrators on behalf of A and SA at Surabaya’s Juanda International Airport.

“At the same time, the perpetrators on behalf of R were also arrested in Tanjung Bumi Bangkalan District,” he explained.

Trunoyudo said, AR (17) is a student and F (21) is a student.
