A motorcycle Didik Yulianto (40) died in an accident at flyover Grogol, West Jakarta, after crashing into a Mitsubishi Pajero car, then being run over by a tow truck. Here’s the chronology of the fatal accident that killed Didik.
“The Honda PCX B-3277-CPP motorbike rider Didik Yulianto, who suffered a chest wound, died at the TKP,” said West Jakarta Police Head of Traffic Unit Agus Suwito in his statement, Thursday (9/2/2023).
Agus explained that the fatal accident occurred at around 13.30 WIB on Wednesday (8/2) on Jalan Satria, to be precise at flyover Grogol, West Jakarta. At first, the motorbike driven by Didik was heading north on flyover Grogol and hit the right rear body of the Pajero car which was on strike.
“Didik Yulianto drove from the south to the north on Jalan Satria, flyover Grogol. Arriving at the descent flyover Grogol hit the right rear body of the Pajero B-1641-BJT jeep that was on strike,” explained Agus.
Later, Didik was found to have fallen to the right of the road after hitting the back of the Pajero car and being run over by a tow truck in the right lane.
“Then (the motorbike) fell to the right, was crushed by the left rear wheel of the B-9145-TIB special vehicle (trek) which was traveling in the right direction,” explained Agus.
Agus said Didik suffered a chest wound and died on the spot. Agus said that his party brought Didik’s body to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) for further investigation.
“The victim, a Honda PCX motorbike rider on behalf of Didik Yulianto, suffered a chest wound, died at the TKP, the body was evacuated to the RSCM, a post mortem was requested,” he said.
Separately, Head of the West Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Kompol Maulana Jali, said that his party was investigating two Pajero car drivers and a tow truck involved in this accident.
“It’s still in the process of investigation, while the drivers of the SUVs and trucks (crane) are still being investigated,” said Maulana.
He said the speed of the motor was in the process of being investigated. “It’s still in process, because the motorcyclist died,” he said.
Apart from the two drivers who were involved in the accident, Maulana said that his party also examined two witnesses who were around the TKP. Until now, the police are investigating four people related to this accident.
