Chronology of Drug Cases Former Astanaanyar Police Chief Kompol Yuni, Transferred and Finally Fired

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV The following is the chronology and history of the case of former Astananya Police Chief, Yuni Purwanti, who was caught in possession of methamphetamine with his members. Had been transferred, then finally officially fired.

On Tuesday (16/2/2021) the Astanaanyar Police Chief, Kompol Yuni Purwanti Kusuma Dewi, along with a dozen members of the National Police who were his subordinates were arrested at a hotel in Bandung City, West Java, on Tuesday (16/2/2021).

They were arrested by a joint Propam officer from the National Police Headquarters and the West Java Regional Police for allegedly using methamphetamine drugs.

The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Pol. Erdi A Chaniago, said a total of 12 police officers were arrested by a joint team of the Police Headquarters and the West Java Police.

“There are a total of 12 (police members). Including the police chief. Now being secured by the West Java Police Propam,” Erdi said at the West Java Police Headquarters on Wednesday (17/2/2021), as quoted from TribunJabar.com.

Those who were detained, said Erdi, had also been tested for urine. The results were positive for using methamphetamine. Including the Astanaanyar Police Chief, Kompol Yuni.

“From the urine checks carried out by several people, some of them were positive. The police chief was positive,” said Erdi.

In addition to arresting a dozen police officers, the Propam team also secured evidence of seven grams of methamphetamine from one member.

Kompol Yuni Purwanti was secured by the Propam Police Headquarters, and the West Java Police for drug-related matters.

The report began with a public complaint, which was submitted to the Propam Police Headquarters.
