Swedish driver Juhan Kristoferson won the final in the most prestigious SuperCar class of the eighth stage of the World Rally Cross Championship in Barcelona on Sunday.
Already at the start, the collision was experienced by Norwegian Andreas Bakerud and Swedish Robin Larson, who did not continue the race. In the third lap, the Swedish Matthias Ekström did not continue the fight for the podium, who slipped and left the track.
Christopher celebrated the victory in the final, beating his compatriot Timi Hansen by less than three seconds, and the third was another Swedish Anton Marklund.
Christophesson gave way to Hansen on the seventh stage in Barcelona on Saturday.
Christophesson is the leader with 219 points in the World Championship standings, Ekstrems has 192 points, and Timmy Hansen is 163 points away. Reinis Nitišs earned 12 points in the Latvian stage, which gives him the 19th place.
This season, there have been double stages in Sweden, Finland, Latvia and Spain. In a month, motorists will have a stage in Belgium, but in December the final stage of the season is planned in Germany.
