Christopher Walken gets role in second Dune film | NOW

The creators of the sequel to Dune have again made a big name for themselves. Christopher Walken can be seen in the action film, which will be released in late 2023.

Walken will play Emperor Shaddam IV in the second part of the film adaptation of Frank Herbert’s book. Emperor Shaddam is the ruler of the universe from the story.

It was previously announced that Florence Pugh will also get a role in Dune: Part Two† She will play the daughter of Walken’s character, Princess Irulan Corrino. Austin Butler, who will soon be seen as Elvis Presley in a movie about ‘The King’, stars in Dune Part Two the role of Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen.

Most of the faces from the first part of the Dune-film adaptation by director Denis Villeneuve return. Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, Josh Brolin and Stellan Skarsgard, among others, are taking up their roles.

Dune was nominated for ten Oscars last winter and won six, including for the film score by Hans Zimmer. The first part is about a young man who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to secure the future of his family and people. Not much is known about the content of the sequel.
