Christopher Plamers, the star of the musical “Sounds of Music”, has died

In the musical “Sounds of Music”, Plamers played the role of Captain von Trap.

Plamers is also considered to be the oldest actor to receive an Oscar. In 2011, at the age of 82, he received an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as an older gay in “Beginners.”

The career of a plamer actor lasted more than 70 years.

His death has been confirmed by his family. He died at his home in Connecticut, where he had a wife with him.

Plamers has received several awards during his lifetime, including two Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, a Tony Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a BAFTA Film Award.
