Actor who plays Kratos in God of War Ragnarök breaks record for longest speech at an award
The actor who plays Kratos in the God of War franchise, Christopher Judge, broke the record for the longest speech at an awards show during the TGA extension 2022. Judge received the Best Performance Award, for his work on God of War Ragnarök. Taking the stage, she surprised everyone with a long speech of 7 minutes and 59 seconds.
No one expected the judge to be speaking this long, and his paused speech showed no signs of ending, to the dismay of announcer Geoff Keighley. The judge passed Greer Garson’s speech at the 1942 Oscars. At the time, the actress took the stage and spoke for 5 minutes and 30 seconds after receiving the Best Actress Oscar for her performance in Rose of Hope .
