Christopher Button Joins Media Central Group as Chief Financial Officer, Bringing Experience From Metro Germany

Die Media Central Group has a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective immediately. A prominent manager took over the post on September 1: Christopher Button was Managing Director Finances at Metro Germany until the end of June. Now the 49-year-old is swapping Düsseldorf for Mönchengladbach and wholesale for marketing.

At Media Central, Knop is responsible for finance and controlling, taking over the duties of Chief Administration Officer Vincenzo Del Popolo, who is to focus more on the administrative area in the future. At the same time, Knop becomes a member of the management of the Media Central Group, which also includes CEO Ingo Wienand and digital boss Stefano Portu.
