The previous European head of the Boston Consulting Group, Christoph Schweizer, will become the consulting company’s new international CEO. The Munich resident will take over the post on October 1 from the previous boss, Rich Lesser, as the group confirmed on Thursday evening. The 48-year-old Swiss has been working for BCG since 1997, primarily from Munich, from 2007 to 2012 at the New York location. He has been responsible for business in Europe since 2017. Lesser resigns from the post after three terms and almost nine years. Schweizer is the seventh head of the consultancy, which was founded in 1963.
