Mair, born in 1966, grew up in Olang. After graduating from the secondary school in Bruneck, he studied business administration in Innsbruck. He began his banking career in 1990 at the Raiffeisenkasse Bruneck, where he headed the credit department from 2000. Since 2010 he has been Vice Director and Market Manager of the Raiffeisenkasse Eisacktal.

Karl Leitner, on the other hand, is retiring. He has been with the Raiffeisenwelt since 1986, and has been director of the Brixen cooperative bank for 23 years. “What was always important to me,” says Leitner, “is the bond with the people in the Eisack Valley and the idea of ​​responsibility – for the members and customers, the bank, the employees. With this conviction and a great team, we have been able to grow steadily and healthily and have been successful over the decades. ”Regarding his successor, he explains:“ I know that the bank will be in good hands. ”
