The organization of the event “Christmas solidarity” invites you to donate toys, children’s books and non-perishable food to be able to distribute these parties between girls and boys in a dining room.
Marlon Oliveira, a representative of the “Solidarity Winter” group, stated that the interested parties You can bring donations until Wednesday 12/20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the headquarters of the Real Estate Chamber (CIR), Sarmiento 1726.
Gifts and food will be taken to the “Los Conejitos” dining room, at Sarratea 1250, in the form of a “Christmas Box”. The coordinated action will take place on Saturday 12/23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Oliveira created a network with other people, mostly migrants who live in the city and who arrived from Brazil, Colombia, Haiti, Paraguay, Peru, Chile or Canada. 13 volunteers started and there are now 70 who organize popular soup kitchens with physical education and artistic activities (see more of that story in this note from Rosario3).
