Christmas printer packages are on their way

Many schools and kindergartens in the Offenbach district have been taking part in the campaign that was launched in Bavaria in 1994, some for the first time, for the past five years. “If a particularly large number of parcels come together at one point, they are picked up directly by our drivers,” explains Sven Korsch. “It’s always a really small event where everyone likes to lend a hand and help together.”

For example, the pupils of the schools: Oswald-von-Nell-Breuning in Rödermark (approx. 60 parcels), Johannes-Gutenberg in Hainburg (approx. 40 parcels) and Geschwister-Scholl (approx. 110 parcels) in Rodgau, Albert-Einstein in Langen (approx. 40 parcels) as well as Erich-Kästner in Dreieich (approx. 15 parcels), in the Aueschule (approx. 30 parcels) in Dietzenbach and in numerous daycare centers in the Offenbach district welcomed the Johanniter helpers in the last week and actively helped with loading the truck. “On occasions like this, we always get positive feedback from the initiators,” says Korsch. “People really appreciate the fact that they know where the donated parcels are going and that they all arrive where they are needed. After all, we Johanniter bring these to the target regions ourselves and distribute some of them there personally. This year, numerous beautifully decorated and packaged parcels were handed over to the Johanniter. ”Arne Hoepke from the Johanniter organizing team reports that the children always help with loading and are very curious about what happens with the parcels.
