Christmas in NYC: Schedule, Knicks Game at MSG, and Tattoo Recommendations

Hello everyone,
We decided to spend Christmas in NY this year, my almost 14 year old pre-teen and me.
I read a lot of posts here, searched the internet, blogs, etc. I think I made a fairly coherent schedule. We leave on 12/22 and return on 12/30.
I submit it to you and welcome all your opinions!

A first question before the schedule: we want to go see the Knicks play at MSG on 12/25.
I looked on the main ticket resale sites. Only one that doesn’t offer exorbitant fees is Tickpick. Have any of you already used it? Is this reliable? At the price of the tickets that day, I admit that I am a little afraid of not getting the tickets at the right place

Here is the schedule:
22-12: departure from home at 4 a.m. for the airport – arrival at JFK at 12:55 p.m.
Take a metro to the hotel – POD39 – expected arrival at the hotel around 5 p.m.
Go see the facade of Saks, walk around Grand Central. Advise according to fatigue!
23-12: metro to Castel Clinton. 9 a.m. departure by ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
On the way back, grab a bite to eat in the neighborhood, see The Bull, Ground Zéro and go up to OWO around 4:30 p.m. to see the sunset. Go to Dumbo Brooklyn then cross the bridge towards Manathan. Return to the hotel
24-12: 10 a.m. Intrepid Sea Museum. Then in order: Egdge, Vessel, High Line, Little Island, Chelsea market. Lunch. If not too tired: Greenwich village, and Soho. Before joining the Union Square Christmas market, then going to Gramercy Park or Washington Square Park for 5 p.m. for the Christmas choirs.
25-12: Knickcs game at 12 p.m. Bryant Park Christmas Market. At the end of the day Dyker Heights.
26-12: Top of the Rock in the morning, then AMHN via Time Warner Center. Afternoon in Central Park. End of afternoon Harlem Meer, return via the Rockfeler Center at night.
27-12: St Patrick’s Cathedral, then Roosvelt Island by cable car. Brooklyn Street Art. Afternoon at Luna Park in Coney Island.
28-12: Shopping at NJ The Mils
29-12: important lie-in because our return flight is at midnight:30! Take advantage of the day to possibly redo places that we want to see again. Souvenir shopping, etc.

In this schedule, I haven’t included anything for the evenings. We want to do the ESB at night and Time Square of course. But I don’t know what night we’ll want it.
Also want to do Ellen’s Stardust Diner, the 230 Fifth roof top and maybe the TickTock Diner.
Also to include if possible in our wanderings: Macy’s, FAO Schwarz. Or another department store that you would recommend to us

I’m also going to get a tattoo during my stay (it’s become a tradition, it’s my “souvenir gift” from the trip). After reading a lot of reviews I’m leaning towards the Rising Dragon Tattoos salon. If you have any opinions on this show or others to recommend, I’m listening!

Thank you in advance for your advice and/or criticism, all of which will be welcome.
