The Archbishop will shortly receive a number of senior visitors and delegates from the state and Al-Azhar to congratulate him on Christmas.
Christmas Mass prayers are expected to begin at eight in the evening today, after the cathedral bells ring to announce the start of prayers, as the church celebrates the holiday according to the Western calendar.
The Episcopal Church celebrated the hymns of the Nativity of Christ inside the All Saints Episcopal Cathedral in Zamalek during the past few days, a celebration that the church holds annually by candlelight before Christmas, through a group of hymns in Arabic and English.
