In May, “Selling Sunset” became the star Christine Quinn (33) and husband Christian Richard parents of a little boy, Christian Georges Dumonte.
The birth, on the other hand, must have been a nightmare. In an Instagram post, the new mother wrote that she was happy that she and her son are still alive.
Raging against the rumors
The Netflix profile was in a very inconvenient place when his son decided to arrive in the world. She was recording, two weeks before term. The birth ended in an emergency caesarean section with the umbilical cord around the baby’s head.
“Baby C was just a few seconds from failing,” the reality star explained in the post.
Panic attack
Through “Selling Sunset”, viewers could follow Quinn’s pregnancy. Now, however, the reality star reveals that her experience of being pregnant was quite different from how it was portrayed on screen.
Found happiness with the boss after the breakup
– In the series, they make fun of me being out too late. It was because I had a panic attack and was afraid that something was wrong with the pregnancy, the real estate agent openly shares AND Canada.
The 33-year-old also says that in private she suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and postpartum depression after the dramatic birth.
PTSD is described as a mental disorder that occurs after a stressful life event, which can be treated with, among other things, cognitive therapy, according to Lommelegen.
Quinn describes her workplace, the Oppenheim office, “as the lion’s den”, and thinks her colleagues rotted together, something she says was difficult to deal with.
– The problem I struggled with was that everyone said: “Well, she’s so thin, she’s like that, she’s like that.” But inside I struggled with PTSD.
