Remembering Christina “Teenie” Donegan
The community mourns the passing of Christina “Teenie” Donegan (née West), who died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on January 3, 2025, in Newtownbutler, Northern Ireland.
Donegan, a resident of Crom Lane, Newtownbutler, BT92 8FL, will be deeply missed by her husband, Michael; her children, Attracta (Finbar O’Harte), fr. Gary, Caroline (Neil Lunney), Mark, and Micaela; and her brother, Con. She leaves behind a legacy of love that extends to her grandchildren, Cariosa, Oisin, cristiona-Mai, and Gearoid. The family also acknowledges the loss of her grandson, Michael, who passed away in infancy.
Her extended family, including brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and the entire family circle, will also feel the profound impact of her absence. The family requests privacy during this tough time. “House private at all times please,” the family respectfully asks.
Visitation will be held at the Oratory of the Church of the immaculate Conception in Newtownbutler on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on the Feast of the Epiphany, January 6, 2025, at 1:30 PM at the same church, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
