Christina Rosenvinge and Burning join the lineup for LPA Beer & Music Festival’s tenth edition

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Jun 30 (EFE).- The LPA Beer & Music Festival has announced new additions to the lineup for its tenth edition, Christina Rosenvinge and Burning, who will be part of this three-day event of concerts.

This time with another anniversary tour, “El Drogas” (Enrique Villarreal) is joined by the performances of Christina Rosenvinge, who comes to Las Palmas to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her album “Que me parta rayo”, from 1992, as The organization of the festival has indicated in a statement.

Through ten songs, Christina Rosenvinge has connected with an audience that is looking for female references in an eminently masculine cultural system.

Accompanied by Los Subterráneos, an open band project, the artist from Madrid has already toured the stages of the main Latin American and Spanish cities that have served as inspiration for several generations.

Thirty years later, Rosenvinge recovers the album with which he broke into the Spanish-speaking universe, with songs like “You for me”, “I’m going in your car”, “Someone who takes care of me” or “1,000 pieces”.

The live show, in which he will be accompanied by Juan Diego Gosálvez (drums), Charly Bautista (guitar and keyboards) and some artists yet to be confirmed, will stop at LPA B&MF on Friday, September 22; before passing through the Primavera Sound Buenos Aires and Santiago, October 10 and November 11, to return to Rock al Parque, in Colombia and return to Spain for their appointment on January 23, 2024 at Circo Price, within the framework at Inverfest and on February 4 at the BCN Guitar Barcelona.

The one from Madrid was scheduled by the festival for the 2020 edition that could not be held due to Covid-19.

Burning makes up another of the new additions to the tenth anniversary of LPA B&MF with which the formation of the year 74, by Pepe Risi, arrives on September 22 at Parque Litoral del Rincón.

Johnny Cifuentes will welcome the new Burning, the single that advances his next album titled ‘Something is burning’, a song that, in Johnny’s own words, “is made for all those musicians who day after day go to the rehearsals to work or compose new songs, we think that the future rock star is germinating there”.

Burning embodies that rock of the late 80s and early 90s, especially thanks to the album ‘The end of the decade’ (1979).

Quique, Pepe Risi, Toño and Johnny Cifuentes got together in the mid-70s and since then they have been on the road for more than forty years.

In the coming days, the organization points out, more artists and bands will continue to be revealed that will meet from September 22 to 24 at Parque Litoral del Rincón, a location that the festival repeats for the second year.

LPA B&MF plans a special anniversary edition to close the summer, both for the residents of the island and for the tourists who visit us in the summer period. EFE
