The Christie & Co office in Lyon has concluded the sale of the Hôtel des Alpes in Grenoble for the benefit of an independent hotelier, a former senior executive of Accor who launched herself into entrepreneurship a few years ago. With this new acquisition, the repositioning of which is planned under the greet brand by September, the buyer, who already owns the Ibis Styles Center Gare, intends to strengthen its position in Grenoble.
Hotel office with 67 rooms, the Hotel des Alpes is ideally located in the city center of Grenoble, on a very visible axis from the train station. Built in a 1970s building extended in the 1990s, the establishment will soon undergo extensive renovation to meet greet hotel standards by September.
The greet brand, positioned in the economy segment, responds to new consumer trends by adopting a circular economy approach and by focusing on the second life of furniture and equipment for the fitting out of its establishments, with decorative items sourced from local designers and solidarity organizations.
This project, which will allow its new owner to create synergies between its 2 establishments, is fully integrated into the dynamics of the Grenoble station district in full mutation. Many hotel renovations are underway. There is no doubt that the modernization of the hotel image around the station will help attract new customers and retain them.
explains Aurélien Passaquay, negotiator at the Christie & Co office in Lyon, who led the transaction.
