The return of Christian Rivera to Sporting is much closer since, this noon, the midfielder has become a free player. The president of the Las Palmas Sports Union, Miguel Ángel Ramírez, confirmed at a press conference the termination of the Gijonian’s contract, after three years, three assignments and little participation with the Canarian team, where he arrived from Éibar in the 2018/2019 season.
Achieving the freedom card was the essential condition for Sporting to be able to undertake the signing of one of the main objectives of the rojiblanco sports director, Javi rico, who thinks of Rivera as the substitute for Javi Fuego and Cristian Salvador; the departure of the latter has been made official by Sporting this Friday, through a statement.
About to turn 24, the midfielder is closer to returning to Mareo, where he trained up to the youth category.
