“There is a contract dated April 15, 2020 signed between Universal and the JG Music company as producer, (the latter) belongs to the parents of Christian Nodal, (Jesús Jaime González Terrazas and Silvia Cristina Nodal Jiménez), where they agree regarding the production of an album that would be titled “AYAYAY!”. In this contract, a consideration was given for the amount of 40 thousand US dollars for the production of said album, “says the lawyer.
In a document shared with EL UNIVERSAL, you can see the description of a payment for the amount of 46 thousand 400 dollars, in which it is observed that minus the Transferred VAT of 16.00%, which was 6 thousand 400, was delivered to the company from the singer’s parents the amount already mentioned above.

Universal sees fraud in Nodal’s parents
Christian Nodal’s parents could be sentenced to prison terms and no longer enjoy benefits, such as taking the legal process in freedom, according to the legal representative of Universal Music, Ulrich Richter, this after the record company filed a criminal complaint on last Wednesday for alleged fraud.
The label’s lawyers went to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) to formalize the new complaint against Silvia Cristina Nodal and Jesús Jaime González Terrazas, who on November 11, 2021 filed a civil lawsuit in which they argued that the singer is the rightful owner of the rights to the songs on the “AYAYAY!” album.

In the documents shared with this Gran Diario de México, it can be seen that the singer’s mother signed a letter dated April 15, 2020 in favor of Universal Music, where she recognizes the corporate as the “sole and exclusive holder and owner ” from the album.
“In the presentation of the questioned documents, where the parents of Nodal attribute the property to their son, the crime of fraud could be proven since, when presenting the civil lawsuit, they exhibited two possibly false contracts, thus deceiving the judicial body,” the label’s lawyer said.
