The Divo de Juárez said that “what you see is not judged” and Pepe Aguilar decided to follow that maxim to dispel the rumors that point to him having a bad relationship with his son-in-law, Christian Nodal. The regional Mexican singer is celebrating his 56th birthday and began the celebrations early Wednesday morning, with a family gathering attended by his daughter Angela and her husband.

Pepe Aguilar shared a series of stories on Instagram that record the beginning of the celebration. In the first story, he appears with his wife Aneliz Álvarez Alcalá and his daughters, while his son Leonardo records the moment when everyone sings “Las Mañanitas.”

In other videos, Christian Nodal can be seen hugging his father-in-law and chatting comfortably in the living room. Both videos captured the attention of millions of social media users, due to the widespread spread of the version of a bad relationship between them.

Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar were married in a civil ceremony on July 24, one month after making their relationship public, and two months after the Sonoran singer separated from the rapper Cazzu, mother of his daughter Inti.

A week after the wedding, TVNotas magazine reported that, according to several guests at the ceremony, Pepe Aguilar only smiled for the photos and it was clear that he did not agree with his daughter Angela Aguilar’s decision.

The speed with which the wedding was organized also gave rise to rumors suggesting that Angela Aguilar was pregnant, a version that lost relevance last weekend, when the singer was caught smoking backstage at a Christian Nodal concert in Mazatlán, Sinaloa.

Although rumors of a bad relationship between Pepe Aguilar and Christian Nodal were still current on social media, the leader of the Aguilar Dynasty dispelled the rumors with two videos that speak for themselves.

When rumors dominated the conversation on social media, graphologist Maryfer Centeno revealed the keys to the relationship between Nodal and Pepe Aguilar. In an interview with Gustavo Adolfo Infante, the digital creator and expert in body language explained that the alleged unhappiness that the singer was reflecting were actually normal feelings of a father.

“I want us to see the face of Don Pepe Aguilar when he hands over his daughter, who is slightly downcast, very moved. It is normal for a father to have mixed feelings when you are handing over your daughter at the altar. No father says ‘okay, take her, bless God’; no, that doesn’t happen,” Centeno explained.

Without the need for a lengthy statement or to respond to the versions that appear on social media, Pepe Aguilar clarified the issue through two videos that say more than a thousand words.
