Last October during Paris Fashion Week, shoe designer Christian Louboutin presented his new collection during an immersive event at the Atelier des Lumières. Among the shoes introduced in this Loubillusion collection, we find the “Our Angels” line, models of boots offered in a wide range of sizes, from 36 to 46. “ A certain fluidity between genres appeared and it was therefore very natural that some of the men’s shoes found their way into the women’s collection. In the same way, I systematically include men’s sizes on women’s models. There is also a certain appetite for heels among men”, Christian Louboutin recently confided to Numéro in an interview.
Inspired by the look of glam-rock icons, the four models of ankle boots and thigh high boots each have a high heel and a platform sole as a nod to the stage and the art of performance. While there are models in leather or leopard print, the collection also offers a pair of satin couture boots adorned with sumptuous embroidery and brocade. A collection that invites individuality and acceptance.
The Our Angels collection by Christian Louboutin will be available at the end of January.
