Christer Falck: – – TV 2 turns out sick

In early August, it became clear that actress Silje Torp (46), known for her roles in TV successes such as “Lilyhammer” and “The Vikings”, will be the new host of the “Robinson Expedition” on TV3.

In recent years, Torp has trained as a personal trainer and mental trainer, and has published the book “Strong with elastic”.

– Forced sale

The program is back on screen this fall after a break of several years. Christer Falck (52) has had the role of host for the last 14 seasons, after he won the first edition in 1999 – when Nils Ole Oftebro (76) steered the ship.

– I was on TV3 for 17 years, but then I was forced to sell against my will to TV 2. Then TV 2 managed to run “Robinson” on the snout. And after that, I have not had anything more to do with TV3, Falck says to Se og Hør.

The first 13 seasons were produced by TV3, in the period 1999 to 2013. The last two seasons, from 2015 and 2016, however, were broadcast by the competitor TV 2.

However, the new rights owners changed a lot and cut most of the season. It should still be said that there were 480,000 who saw the premiere – a far higher audience than before.

See and Hear meets Christer Falck in connection with the first day of recording Discoverys «16 weeks of hell», where, among others, he, musician Jørn Hoel (64) and comedian Håvard Lilleheie (48) will go through a tough regime both in terms of diet and exercise.

ROBINSON: After a 4-year break, it was decided earlier this spring that the “Robinson Expedition” will make a comeback. Here are some highlights from previous seasons.

Have faith

The former host believes Silje Torp handles his old job more than well enough compared to himself.

– I think the program is in safe hands. I am very happy that it was not a handsome, young man who took over after me, but rather a strong, strong lady, he says with a smile.

He does not feel that he has lost his own “baby”, even though he has led the program for a number of years.

– I closed my shop in 2005, and then I had been standing there every day for 16 years. The day I closed the store, I was no longer at Aker Brygge and did not think about it anymore. That’s how it is with “Robinson”, exes, everything I’m done with – I do not spend much time on that.

He continues:

– I would have liked to have had such a job, me, but now it’s probably just me and Dorthe Skappel who have been in such a job for so many years in one and the same program. One might rather ask why they should choose me again rather than that it is sad that I am not there.

TV 2: – Wish them all the best

– Have you given any advice to the new host?

– Yes, I explained to her what it looks like there. Lots of waiting and resting. And then I talked to her when she came home, and then it turned out that she had been much more active than me. But the advantage to Silje is that she can go and talk at once, while I can barely make a ten-second talk on the intro.

– So it’s probably good for the program as well. Maybe they now get a boost after TV 2 turned out so sick the two years they had it, says Christer Falck to Se og Hør.

Press manager at TV 2, Jan-Petter Dahl, has little to say to the statements from Falck.

– We register Christer Falck’s dissatisfaction, but have no comment on this. At the same time, we are happy that we got to have both Christer and “Robinson” on the channel, and wish them all the best in the future, he says.

See and Hear has been in contact with TV3, which states that those who were involved in the decision at the time no longer work there, and that they therefore have no comment on the case.
