Celtic have a great challenge on their hands to overcome the Rangers next season.
That’s because Steven Gerrard’s team has just risen to Scottish Premiership glory and finished 25 points clear of Celtic.
The Hoops were going for a historic 10 in a row, but the Rangers emphatically destroyed that offer with a ludicrously consistent season that didn’t yield a single league loss.
With his decision to cast Eddie Howe as Neil Lennon’s successor collapsing, the rebuilding of Parkhead hasn’t exactly gone well so far.

But according to Sky Sports News, Celtic are “sure” to hire former Australia boss Ange Postecoglou as their next manager.
But Rangers fans have been mocking the Yokohama F. Marinos boss, who does not have a UEFA professional license, on Twitter since the speculation began.
And Chris Sutton, writing in his column for The Record, claims that it is unfair on the part of the Ibrox faithful, admitting that he feels sorry for the 55-year-old.
He said: “Rangers fans are laughing at the situation and are already dismissing Ange Postecoglou as an Australian Pedro Caixinha. I do not think it’s fair.
“You can see the comparisons in that, like Caixinha, Postecoglou has a great personality, is not afraid of conflict and has had some success in non-traditional football areas. It would be extremely hard to fire him completely before he even walks through the door. In fact, I feel sorry for the guy. He’s entering a Mission Impossible job right now.
Even some Bhoys fans may be a bit disappointed in Postecoglou after missing Howe, it must be said.
On the other hand, Gerrard had no senior management experience when the Rangers pulled him out of coaching Liverpool’s youth team three years ago.
The Greek-born technician, for his part, has 25 years of experience in this concert and that has to count for something.
