Will Smith has just announced his retirement from The Academy. This means that the work of the actor in the film can no longer be nominated for an Oscar in the coming years.
Because of the Will Smith incident slapping hard Chris Rock who then hosted the 2022 Oscars on stage earlier this week. At that time, Chris Rock quipped Will Smith’s wife who looked like a GI Jane movie because she had a bald head.
Though Will Smith’s wife, Jade Pinkett Smithis suffering from alopecia due to an autoimmune disease that she suffers from.
After the news that Will Smith resigned, Chris Rock still seemed silent and did not want to comment. But his older brother, Tony Rock, actually spoke up.
He gave a ‘slap back’ to Will Smith with scathing and circus words.
“You gonna hit a brother because your bitch gave you one eye?” said Tony Rock, as reported by various sources, Sunday (3/4/2022).
Since the incident happened, Tony Rock has shown his anger towards Will Smith but he has shown it in a comedy show. After getting on the stand-up stage, he joked about the incident that happened to his brother.
“If you think you’re going to walk on this stage, it’s not a very good Oscar! And if you walk in here, you’re not nominated for s*** but Mom’s hand.”
“Oh we’re going to show up on the side this year. Every time you see me doing a show, I’m going to poke fun at you (Will Smith) again,” said Tony Rock.
Chris Rock and Will Smith don’t seem to have spoken to each other since the slapping incident. Chris Rock is also still silent and does not want no voice.
