Chris Pine Optimistic for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Sequel

Roll for initiative! Chris Pine has expressed confidence that Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will get a sequel.

The actor played the role of the bard Ejin in the film Honor Among Thieves, which was released earlier this year and received good reviews from critics and audiences, but failed to make good money at the box office. However, Wizards of the Coast management remains pleased with the film, but nothing has been heard about a sequel yet.

Reporters caught up with Pine to talk about “The Heart’s Desire,” the new Disney animated film in which the actor will play the role of the villain King Magnifico. The conversation also touched upon Dungeons and Dragons, and Pine is optimistic about returning to the franchise.

I’ve heard some rumors about this. But I don’t know anything yet. But I’m sure it can happen.

Asked if he would be happy to return, Pine replied: “Absolutely.”

Dungeons & Dragons is certainly in the spotlight this year – along with the big screen release of Honor Among Thieves, Baldur’s Gate 3 became a massive hit, and the game collected a record number of awards at the 2023 Golden Joystick Awards.
