“A song is a feeling when you’re aware that everything isn’t as bad as it may seem, because there’s someone in your life who can dispel all your worries and difficulties,” Chris Noah describes the song. “It’s kind of like a confession of love, saying thank you that you’re still there, despite everything you’ve had to go through.”
Chris Noah says the phrase “sun boy,” came from working on new song ideas. The melody, harmony and lyrics of the song that was still in the “idea” phase at that time reminded me of my childhood – a time when there were no worries, no pressure from others and myself, there was no constant rush in everyday life and any experience was easy to forget. I tried to transfer this feeling to the present, when you are no longer a child, but this peace and stopping from the daily race is necessary. ”
The video for the song was written by director Helen Takkin from Estonia.
