Former WWE wrestler Chris Hero (Kassius Ohno in WWE) was present backstage during ROH’s Best in the World PPV.
This past Sunday, ROH held a new PPV where the return of the public was a fact. This PPV was ROH Best in the World and left us several surprise results, such as Bandido’s victory over Rush to become the new ROH Champion, Dragon Lee as the new ROH TV Champion, and Chelsea Green’s surprise appearance as a new entrant to the women’s tournament.
Chelsea Green wouldn’t be the only former WWE Superstar to be present at ROH’s pay-per-view. As POST Wrestling reports that Chris Hero was backstage for Best in the World. Joe Koff, ROH’s chief operating officer, was asked about this fact and reportedly replied: “Chris was there and is always at his home at Ring of Honor. “
It should be remembered that Chris Hero was present at ROH from 2005 to 2014, with an intermediate break in 2012. His beginnings in Ring of Honor were as part of a history of invasion by the CZW company, and he ended his stage with a fight against AJ Styles. Years later, he signed with WWE and was part of the WWE NXT roster to later be transferred to the WWE NXT UK roster.
