There was recently an article on FilmTotaal about it Chris Hemsworth. The beloved actor was told that he was eight to ten times more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease later in life. Partly because of this, he says he’ll act less.
These revelations made him think more about life and death. Now he has decided to put his acting career on hold, at least for now, so he can spend more time with his family.
Full agenda
Hemsworth isn’t exactly sitting still. He’s been playing like this for years, of course Thor in the MCU, but is also working on other hits like the Mad Max: Fury Road-Continuation Angry in Extraction 2. However, the shooting of both films has been completed. Now she wants to take it easy.
So he says: “I’m doing promotion for my new Disney+ series “Limitless” and then I go home. During the shooting I suddenly thought: “My children are getting old, they are growing up without me because I am making film after film”. Before you know it, they’ll be 18 and gone. I don’t want to miss their childhood“.
Rust
Hemsworth continues: “It really did something to me. The filming of the show is done, but I finish the commercial and then I go home. I’m going to take a long break and make my life easier. I just want to spend time with my kids and my wife“.
Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, have three children: India (10) and twins Sasha and Tristan (8). It is currently unknown when the actor will return, although we do know that he is working on the Hulk Hogan biopic. Also, his schedule is pretty empty and will stay that way for a while.
