Choupette, Karl Lagerfeld’s Feline Heiress, Invited to the Met Gala

The “New York Post” has just revealed that Choupette, the cat of the late Karl Lagerfeld, would make the trip to New York. The information was confirmed at daily by the animal officer. A logical invitation, since the Met Gala this year is dedicated to the late couturier and his work in fashion.

Choupette, an 11-year-old sacred Burmese cat and sole heiress of the German, first belonged to Baptiste Giabiconi. Shortly after adopting her, the model asked Karl Lagerfeld to babysit her while he was away, and the furball never returned to his first master. Today, Choupette is followed by 132,000 people on Instagram and 45,300 on Twitter.
