The expected final of the Trophée du Futur between Cholet Basket and Limoges Cercle Saint-Pierre will take place. The Maugeois and the Limougeauds won this Saturday in the semi-finals against Dijon (68-58) and ASVEL (62-60).
Cholet pulled away against Dijon in the third quarter. Led by Mathéo Leray (21 points and 9 assists for 23 evaluation), Régis Boissié’s team managed to stop the JDA, with the exception of Ilias Kamardine, author of 32 of his team’s 58 points.
The second match will have been tense between the CSP and ASVEL, which managed to repatriate its U18s from Belgrade just one day after the Next Generation Tournament. But carried by Beaublanc, Arnaud Tessier’s players did not give in to Rafail Lanaras (2 points at 7/14, 8 rebounds and 2 assists for 21 evaluation in 29 minutes) & co. They will therefore play the title this Sunday at home, at 3 p.m.
