Today the match between Inter e Salerno valid for the twenty-eighth matchday of Serie A.
I nerazzurri by Simone Inzaghi they beat Salernitana with a resounding five to zero thus obtaining an important victory that was missing in the championship since January 22nd.
However, despite the good performance of their team, the Nerazzurri fans towards the end of the match sang a goliardic chorus addressing the Salerno fans: “You are Neapolitans”.
In addition, the Inter fans also sang “Naples like Salerno” thus comparing the city of Salerno to that of Naples.
As usual, however, the usual despicable chants against Vesuvius also occurred: “Vesuvius erupts, all of Naples is destroyed”.
Although in recent days the ferocity of man is manifesting itself in its crudest form with the war in Ukraine, in Italy we are still forced to hear racist chants against Napoli and the Neapolitans.
If we do not improve starting from these apparently harmless gestures, hatred, violence and war will never cease to exist.
