The Special Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency, which is investigating allegations related to the October 29 disaster, summoned Yongsan Fire Chief Choi Seong-beom for the second time to investigate.
With the investigation directed at the top firefighters, the Special Edition will soon decide whether to request a warrant.

Choi Seong-beom, chief of Yongsan Fire Station, has been targeted for a special investigation for allegedly issuing the second phase of the response late at the time of the October 29 disaster.
Chief Choi appeared in the Special Edition for a second investigation.
Five days have passed since the first investigation, which took place on the 21st for 13 hours.

Previously, Chief Choi was unable to directly issue the second phase of the response because he was immersed in on-site emergency activities, and the head of the Seoul Fire and Disaster Headquarters issued it instead and stated that he would not there were problems with on-site judging.
Investigations into the special version are also heading to the top fire brigade.
For the first time since the disaster, the National Fire Agency conducted a large-scale search and seizure and obtained data from six locations, including 119 General Situation Room.
The Emergency Rescue Central Control Group was not actually operational on the day of the disaster, but there is a situation where official documents have been manipulated as if it were operational.
In the process, the office of Nam Hwa-young, acting head of the National Fire Agency, was also seized and searched to confirm whether he was involved.
In response, the Fire and Disaster Management Agency explained that a monitoring group had been formed earlier due to the earthquake that occurred in Goesan, Chungcheongbuk-do on the morning of the disaster, and had been expanded.
Park Hee-young, head of Yongsan-gu, is about to be summoned again, and the second investigation into the main suspects is also speeding up.
