Not two months after being released from prison, Cuban reggaeton player Yosvanis Arismin Sierra Hernández, known in the artistic world as “Chocolate MC”, was arrested by the Orlando, Florida police.
According to the arrest data, the “King of the Deliverymen” was arrested by a warrant from Monroe County and according to his arrest warrant, he faces charges of “assault, causing bodily harm and disability.”
So far it is not known if he was jailed because of the pending charges, charged by his ex-partner Cynthia Cortés, or if they are new crimes.
The news was echoed by several people, such as the influencer Alexander Otaola when he posted on social networks: “Breaking News: Cuban reggaeton Chocolate MC arrested again in Orlando”. In addition, the humorous duo the Pichy Boys wrote in a post on their Facebook account: “They re-arrest Cuban urban singer Chocolate MC. What a pity to see that Choco does not raise his head. Lucky Yosvanis”.
Recall that the artist was arrested about four months ago, when he decided to surrender after having an arrest warrant for having starred in an alleged assault on a woman, after a presentation at a nightclub in Miami’s Doral.
However, while in prison, Chocolate stated that he did not assault any women: “I am not imprisoned here for any problem with any woman, totally false, the problem was with an individual who says he is an Abakuá ”. This was contradicted by what was reflected in his arrest report, where they indicated that “he accidentally assaulted Nelly Herrera during a fight at a club.”
In September Chocolate MC seemed focused on his music and his career. In fact, he even premiered a second part of Bajanda and gave several previews of what his new songs would be.
