A cruise ship comes into Jeju Port from the distant sea.

This is the 24,000 ton cruise ‘Blue Dream Star’ departing from Shanghai, China.

This is the first cruise in Korea to enter Jeju this year, and a grand welcome ceremony was held to welcome more than 1,000 people, including Chinese tourists.

It is the first time in 6 years and 5 months that an international cruise from China has arrived in Jeju.

Tourists who are busy taking commemorative photos against the blue sky and sea of Jeju, enjoying the beautiful nature of Jeju, cannot hide their excitement all the time.

The tourism industry expects that the local economy will also be revitalized as cruises from Japan continue to use Jeju as a port of call after Corona 19, followed by cruise tourism from China.

‘Cruise ships from China’ are scheduled to visit Jeju 47 times by the end of this year.

Jeju Island and the Jeju Tourism Organization are also strengthening tourism marketing by visiting China.

About 330 international cruise ships have applied for entry into Jeju next year, 80% of which are cruise ships from China, and 900,000 tourists are expected to visit Jeju.
