Chinese taxi app raises $4.4 billion in New York

The stock market debut of Didi, the Chinese Uber so to speak, has become a direct hit. The shared taxi service raised $4.4 billion on its entry on the New York Stock Exchange, with a valuation of $73 billion. Didi is the largest American listing by a Chinese company since Alibaba. Investors seem to be waving Beijing’s strict approach to Big Tech companies.
