RPG creator Genshin Impact has released a trailer today that features four new characters and the quests that come with them.
A huge update will add new stories, heroes, a seasonal event, and a reputation system to the game.
Genshin Impact is one of the hits of 2020 even though it came out just a month ago. According to analysts, this is the largest global launch of a Chinese game in history.
The trailer focuses on the ending of a storyline in which players try to solve the mysterious murder of the god of contracts. But we’re also being shown four new heroes that players can earn through microtransactions. Among these characters, in addition to the standard archer, a rock star is also waiting for us.
In a separate press release, the developer talked about some of the new features coming to Genshin Impact with Update 1.1. A reputation system will appear in two regions, which acts as a separate level system with unique rewards for completing certain tasks.
The update will also feature a Season 1 event called Stars Mismatched, which “calls on all players to fight back against the sudden and dire disaster that threatens Teiwat.” The event will run for two weeks and include new quests and special co-op challenges.
Among other things, there was confirmedthat Genshin Impact will be playable on PlayStation 5 thanks to backward compatibility: the version for the next generation console will feature improved graphics and faster load times.
Genshin Impact RPG Big Update will come out November 11, 2020 on Computers, Android, iOS and PlayStation 4.
