Chinese President Xi Jinping personally commented on the visit of Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan.
Xi Jinping is quoted by the Chinese media.
“Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan is another demonstration of the uncivilized campaign of the imperialists. We continue to look at the world with wide eyes so as not to miss a single provocation from the American reactionaries,” the Chinese president said in a statement.

Recall, Chinese Ambassador to the United States Qin Gang also said that China is angry with Pelosi’s visit.
“We are going to take all possible measures to respond and protect our sovereignty and territorial integrity, and our response will be very firm, strong and powerful,” the Chinese ambassador said.
The diplomat noted that Pelosi represents the highest echelon of American power, so her visit to Taiwan cannot be perceived as an ordinary event.
