Foreign media reported on the 9th (local time) citing tipster SnoopyTech (@_SnoopyTech_) that Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus’ first foldable smartphone ‘OnePlus Open (tentative name)’ will be equipped with a special version of OxygenOS. .
According to the report, Tipster recently claimed through his Twitter account that the OnePlus foldable phone would be equipped with a special version of OxygenOS called ‘OxygenOS Fold’. OxygenOS, which OnePlus installs on its smartphones, is basically the same as Oppo’s ColorOS. OnePlus and Oppo are both subsidiaries of the BBK Group.
Considering that Oppo has installed ‘ColorOS Fold’ in Find N2, ‘OxygenOS Fold’ is expected to be similar to ‘ColorOS Fold’. In addition, if the special version is installed, some Android functions such as the Android task bar may not be supported.
The ‘OnePlus Open’ is expected to be unveiled at an event next month.
