(Beijing = Yonhap News) Correspondent Cho Jun-hyeong = China announced on the 17th that it would send Vice President Wang Qishan to the coat of arms of Queen Elizabeth II of England.
According to the official WeChat report (Chinese version of KakaoTalk) of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Vice President Wang will attend the Queen’s funeral in London on the 19th (local time) as President Xi Jinping’s special representative in response to an invitation from the British government. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maoning said.
