Chinese Diplomatic Service Responds to British Sanctions on Chinese Companies

The Chinese diplomatic service called on the British government to “correct its mistakes” after imposing sanctions against Chinese companies.

The embassy noted that it “strongly opposes the actions of the British side,” accusing the country’s authorities of violating international law.

“Any actions that harm China’s interests will be met with a strong response,” the embassy said.

The department added that China “adheres to an objective and fair position on the Ukrainian issue.”

British sanctions

Let us remind you that today, December 6, Britain introduced sanctions against individuals and legal entities that finance the military machine of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

In particular, the restrictions affected three Chinese companies: Asia Pacific Links Limited, Sinno Electronics Co., Limited and Xinghua Co., Limited. They supply Russia with sanctioned goods, which the aggressor country can use for military purposes.

Sanctions were imposed not only against Chinese companies, but also Belarusian, Serbian, Turkish, Uzbek and UAE companies.
